Florida Escapade is a motorcycle tour designed to offer an overall view of most of this fascinating North American state in a week of packed-full experiences. The state is known for its mostly flat terrain and, therefore, not many curvy roads. What is less known is the fact that exploring its diverse range of landscapes and small towns can also be a rewarding journey. The rugged beauty of the Everglades, the charming towns of Punta Gorda and Cocoa Beach, the historic city of St Augustine, and the Space Coast all offer visitors an unforgettable experience on two wheels.

Reception of the participants at the airport and transfer to the hotel by Aventura Motorcycle Tours staff, welcome drink, dinner, and tour presentation.

Miami - Fort Myers
Leaving Miami, our first ride will be through the scenic route through the historic Tamiami Trail. Here we’ll witness the breathtaking beauty of Florida's natural landscape, including swamps, marshes, and wildlife. Along the way, a stop for lunch at Everglades City, a quaint and typical South Florida settlement right by the waters of the Everglades.
We then continue towards Marco Island and Naples, known for its white sand beaches and luxury lifestyle. Beautiful Captiva Island and Sanibel will be the last stops before we arrive in Fort Myers, our destination for the day. We can stroll through the historic downtown district, enjoy the waterfront views, and indulge in some of the best seafood Florida offers.

Miami - Zephyrhills
Today we head towards Zephyrhills, taking the scenic route through rural areas and small towns. As we leave Fort Myers, we'll pass through the town of Punta Gorda, where we can visit Fishermen's Village for some light snacks and sightseeing. Next, we'll ride alongside the coast to Sarasota, known for its stunning beaches and art scene, for the lunch stop.
As we continue heading north, the roads will take us to Tampa and St Petersburg, where the world-famous Salvador Dali Museum is located. It houses the largest collection of the surrealist artist's work outside of Spain, and if time allows, we will pay it a visit. Finally, the stop for the night in Zephyrhills, a quiet small town in Pasco County known for its pure spring water and laid-back lifestyle.

Zephyrhills - St. Augustine
Our ride today will take us to St Augustine, one of the oldest cities in the United States, dating back to 1565. We'll ride through the Ocala National Forest, home to numerous springs, lakes, and hiking trails, and then visit the town of Palatka, situated on the St. Johns River and boasting a beautiful waterfront park.
We stop for the night in St Augustine, where we’ll be able to explore the historic district and visit the famous Castillo de San Marcos, a 17th-century fortress built by the Spanish to protect their territory. The fort is made of coquina, a sedimentary rock composed of seashells, giving it an unusual appearance and texture. St Augustine has a vibrant cultural scene, with numerous art galleries, music venues, and theaters, making it a memorable part of the trip.

St. Augustine - Vero Beach
The day starts with the crossing of the Matanzas Inlet Bridge on A1A, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. We'll then go through Flagler Beach, another laid-back coastal town with a pier, restaurants, and bars. Our next stop will be the charming town of New Smyrna Beach, where you can spend some time exploring the art galleries and boutiques.
Cape Canaveral, where NASA is located, and Cocoa Beach come next. Beautiful beaches will be in our sight for most of the time as we move on to Vero Beach, known for its natural beauty, cultural attractions, and upscale shopping.

Vero Beach - Miami
Today is our group's final day on the road, and we'll be making our way back to Miami. We will start by taking the coastal route to Stuart and its historic downtown and riverfront boardwalk. It's time to move back inland and enjoy the ride alongside the shores of the second-largest freshwater lake in the continental United States.
Lake Okeechobee covers an area of over 730 square miles and connects to the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico through a system of canals. We will stop there for lunch and then move on to our last road stretch on old FL 27, a bikers' favorite, to reach our hotel in Miami.
